Following the Tasmanian Government’s buy back of the AN Tasrail business from Pacific National in 2009, SmithAssociates was commissioned to create the new Identity for TasRail.
Working closely with The Chairman, we first undertook a brand audit assessing the need for transition across all infrastructure across the state.
The new TasRail Identity was applied to corporate identity, signage at both administration building and rail yard sites and for both OH&S compliant and way-finding requirements. Uniforms, Personal Protection Equipment and most excitingly for our trains enthusiast studio manager, Mal, all livery for new locomotives and wagons.
We also created the employee and community engagement campaign ‘TasRail. Our future on track.’
